This series ‘Look at me’ of twelve poppy, colourful, digital collages sees gods and goddesses reborn through a combination of previously produced photographs.
Aphrodite the goddess of love. This innocent child is in fact homage by the artist to her daughters, where beauty in its purest form allows us to empathise with her inquisitive gaze and childlike posture. What will her future behold? The artist has used details from photographs of her daughters to make up the features of our goddess, including her dress, which is in fact made of images of their skin.
