I have made 3 artworks of powerful dictators, the sitting American President Donald J. Trump, Kim Jong Un and Putin to create an image of a crying boy.
The question I had, what were these influential men like as children? What was the occurrence that ripped away their fragile innocence we are all born with? The message in these works is not dark, but a gentle reminder that we all start off with the purest of naivety about the world, and as adults we must strive to keep this strength within us.
